There are some friendships, some relationships that just aren't good for us.
You can take them, twist them and dress them up but it doesn't change what they are.
They say a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet so it goes without saying that poop by any other name would still smell as bad ..
Sometimes in our relationships we let others take advantage of us, sometimes we place too much emphasis on the other person and it morphs from being mutually beneficial to totally one sided.

If we're lucky though we can find our footing once again and learn how to fight for ourselves and regain belief in our self worth

Come back for the hope that you've stolen "
Sometimes our situations can seem overwhelming and unreal much like our own personal "monster". One that takes on a life of its own and begins to affect everything around us in our own "world".
" I'll stop the whole world
From turning into a monster, and eating us alive "
And even though people around us may doubt us and "wonder how we'd survive" when its all said and done " now that you're gone the world is ours"
